Congratulations to the Goins Family of 1941 Riva Ridge Road, winners of the 2013 Best Decorated House in Helena Contest. “It was quite difficult to come up with a winner. All of the houses nominated are worthy of accolades for their stunning displays of holiday lights. It’s a magical time of the year and all those whose houses were entered certainly put in a lot of hard work and effort. Each decorated home adds to the magic of Christmas for children of all ages” said Helena Beautification Board Chairman, Chris VanCleave. He added that as a child growing up in Tennessee, one of the highlights of each year was riding around with his family looking at the lights in their Nashville neighborhood. “I want to encourage all Helena residents to jump in the car and drive around and look at all the lights this year. It’s a surefire way to put you in the holiday spirit, VanCleave said. The Goins family was awarded a special Christmas ornament to commemorate this event and wanted to wish all their friends and neighbors a very Merry Christmas.
